Dear theWord Community:
Need help in trying to implement a customizable layout in a form I have
not been able to create in theWord Bible application.
I might again be missing something here or have not read enough, however,
if anyone out there knows how to implement this special layout. Please advise
with steps or other so that I can make this happen.
I really appreciate in advance all those who take the time to read this
post and thank you in advance for the solutions you guys provide.
Please see attached layout.
Sincerely,
deeBibletheWord7

Re: Layout
See in the help the possible area for docking windows.
https://www.theword.net/manual/views.htm
Once you understand this it is not too difficult to drag the windows and dock them where you need them.
I think the key is on finding the position of the central view, and in your case it would have the Bible search, and user windows in it.
To find where the central view is/will be, click on one of the views at the top left small down arrow, and a menu will appear. Go to the second item "Dock to" and hover the mouse over those choices. A gray rectangle will indicate where the window would be moved. The last item shows the central position. Once you know this it should be easy to drag/add/remove the views as you require. To make it a little easier, make your 5 views first, then go about arranging them.

Re: Layout
Hello Jon:
Excellent Advice.
I will do just that.
I will try to make each window to float, pick my main
window and dock all the other views to that window like
you say.
Hope it works
Thanks
