Greek-English Lexicon by Louw and Nida

Post by jonathangkoehn »

Greetings,
I was wondering if anyone is working on bringing this lexicon into theWord

"Greek-English Lexicon by Louw and Nida"

If not is it a possibility in the future?

I understand, some make it too hard, or too expensive

Does there happen to be an update on this? I see Logos has it for under $30 so maybe now a license could be obtained for less? I would buy a (theWord) version for $30, but I suppose one customer would not make it economically feasible.

I would like to get it to.
[Edit...]
I just contacted them. I found that it is under Amazon as Fortress Press.
But I looked in another location: https://accordancebible.com/product/lou ... n-lexicon/
And there it is under American Bible Society which is a publisher we work with. I contacted them so hopefully we will have follow up soon from them. Please note some publishers take a while.

United Bible Societies is the publisher. I don't know if Louw-Nida that is the same department as the UBS4 text or not. I sent an email to the only email address I could find online; hopefully it gets forwarded to the right person. I will let you know if they respond.

archive.org has a borrowable copy. So I can access the data, but not like having it in theWord software, links and all. https://archive.org/details/greekenglis ... 5/mode/2up

I have also emailed United Bible Society hopefully they will respond. (I personally would like Louw and Nida as well)
