Create a reading plan with morning and evening

Hello,
I am trying to create a reading plan with mornng and evening readings.
I downloaded and installed the file tpl-ME.dev.exe.
Whilst I can see dates with am and pm, I can't see how reading verses are entered.

Is there a help file on creating reading lists, as I realise I am probably being more than bit obtuse.
