Help needed to review Septuagint Words English Bible

Post by PIERRE862 »

I am sending you a copy of the Septuagint Words English Bible that I worked on (containing the whole NT and some books of the OT (including Psalms, Proverbs, Eccl., Songs of Solomon, Isaiah and all the minor prophets). It is coded to strong's numbers. I was wondering if you could publish it as an official module of the TheWord. I am sending you a compressed file of the bible which I published as a user module on the Online Bible of North America site. I don't know if the format they use there can be used by you. I use theWord regularly and I would like to have this bible available on theWord.

Due acknowledgement is given to :

AMG's Comprehensive Dictionary of Old Testament words by E. Richard Pigeon

Vine's Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words by W.E. Vine

Hatch and Redpath Concordance to the Septuagint

Manual Lexicon of the New Testament by Abbot-Smith

The King James is used as a base to which is added english translations of Greek/Hebrew words coded to Strong's numbers in his Dictionary of Hebrew and Greek words.

Thanks again for your help in the past in publishing my two modules of Septuagint Words dictionaries.

Let me know if there are changes to be made.

I was wondering if you could delete (NOT IN G/H) and also (TOO MANY IN G/H) throughout all the bible. And whatever you find that would make it more acceptable to the average reader you could suggest to me before changing it in the document. Also the document has a grid with all the verses of the bible obtained while preparing the document for the user sent material for the Online Bible of North America. This grid should probably be removed in order to be used as a module for theWord.

I replaced (NOT IN G/H) by (1) and (TOO MANY IN G/H) by (2) (instead of by * and **)

What specific file format is the Septuagint Words English Bible currently, and is it easily convertible to theWord's module format, or would significant reformatting be required?

I have used Microsoft Word text to modify the file now in ONE WORD. I do not know what format theWord uses. I don't know if this will help. Thanks for your inquiry.

Use this program if you want to create a new bible translation/module in TheWord from scratch.
