Typo in NIV (2011)

Post by Voomby »

There is a typo in the NIV (2011). There is a random number "10" inserted halfway through a verse (probably as a remnant of footnote numbering), so that it reads "shout,10" instead of "shout,". Here is the verse in question.

Joshua 6:20 When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout,10 the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city.

It should have been a xref to Joshua 6:10. We will fix.
